Connecting to WebShare as a network drive: Windows XP • Mac OS X • Links
On Windows XP
Open My Network Places (either through the Start Menu or on your desktop) and click on Add a Network Place (under Network tasks on the left).

Click Next to continue through the wizard. When asked “Where do you want to create this network place?” click on “Choose another network location” and click Next.

Enter https://webshare.alfordmedia.com/as the address for the new network place and click Next. Make sure you type https and not just http — that “s” is important!

You will be asked to enter a username and password; remember both are case sensitive. You can check “Remember my password” or leave it unchecked and re-enter your username and password every time you connect.

Next you’ll be asked to name the network place; click Next to keep the default of webshare.alfordmedia.com. Click Finish to exit the wizard and open the folder in Windows Explorer.
On Mac OS X
In the Finder choose “Connect to Server...” under the Go menu.
Enter afp://webshare.alfordmedia.com for the server address and click on Connect.
You will be asked for your username and password, and then you will be asked to select the volume to mount.
